Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide when creating a profile: name, position, physical statistics (Bronco time, sprint times, strength data), playing history, passport eligibility details, and any media you upload. We also collect account data (email, login credentials), usage data via PostHog (a GDPR-compliant analytics provider), and payment data processed via Stripe. We never store card numbers.

Your profile data creates your public rugby passport and makes you discoverable to registered scouts and clubs. We use data to display your profile to verified scouts and clubs, send platform-related emails, process subscription payments via Stripe, improve platform features using aggregated analytics, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your public profile (name, position, stats, playing history) is visible to all registered scouts and clubs on the platform. Your email address and direct contact details are only shown to verified club representatives when you explicitly approve a contact request. You can set your profile to private at any time from your dashboard settings.

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are only activated with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings or our cookie preference centre.

Your data is retained while your account is active. Request deletion at any time by emailing hello@5metrescrum.com. We process all deletion requests within 30 days in compliance with GDPR Article 17.

Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact dpo@5metrescrum.com to exercise any right. You may also lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

We work with: Stripe (payment processing — stripe.com/privacy), PostHog (GDPR-compliant analytics — posthog.com/privacy), and Supabase (database & authentication — supabase.com/privacy). Each operates under its own privacy policy and a GDPR data processing agreement with us.
